On October 21, Ceci Markovits won her cup, the seventh in our ongoing Cup Quest. She and Don Rutstein won the Club Appreciation game posting a remarkable 62.50% game to take first overall for the fifth time this month.
Ceci began playing something called "bridge" in college and graduated to once a week duplicate to become hooked.
She began reading and playing more competitively after moving to Phoenix following retirement. Following a knee injury and consequent reduction in her golf game, she began concentrating on bridge. Seems like it took pretty well.
Ceci said; "I  consider  myself  fortunate to have had and still  have  marvelous  partners. The  combination of  these  people, plus my consuming  interest in bridge has  made  for many, many  enjoyable moments".
