On July 25, Ken Barbour won his cup in our Cup Quest by placing first overall for the fifth time this month. 
Ken is graduate of Cambridge University in England with a Master's degree in engineering.  As a young man he won major bridge championships in England (the Gold Cup and Crockford's Cup and represented his homeland in major competition including the European Championships in 1962.  He has contributed to Bridge World magazine, the British Bridge World and the Bridge Journal. 
Ken migrated to Phoenix in 1980 and concentrated on his computer business until his retirement in 1993 when he began playing bridge more ardently. 
Ken is an Emerald Life Master.  He teaches and plays professionally.
