On Monday, July 29, 2007 Frank Leonard won our eleventh cup. He placed first overall for the fifth time this month while partnered with Lorne Lange. Frank began playing bridge in San Francisco in 1972 before moving to the Phoenix area. He and his wife, Mary Jane Frostad placed second overall in the Open Pairs in 1978 New Orleans nationals. Frank is a Gold Life Master and plays professionally throughout the area.
